If you successfully complete our 90-day treatment program, we guarantee you’ll stay clean and sober, or you can return for a complimentary 30 days of treatment.
When you come to Desert Hope Las Vegas, you can rest assured that you’ll receive the highest quality medical care, combined with the latest in addiction treatment. From traditional treatment methods like cognitive-behavioral therapy to alternative therapies like art therapy, our program offers a wide range of tools to help you gain the skills you’ll need to live in recovery. Our program also welcomes and provides specialized treatment for drug and alcohol addiction to our veterans and first responders in the Las Vegas area, throughout Nevada, and around the country.
Our multidisciplinary treatment team works tirelessly to help you begin living the life you deserve, not only working with you while you’re in our program but also helping you craft an aftercare plan so you confidently reintegrate into your normal life once you walk out our doors.
Tailored Treatment. No two people's journey to recovery is the same. That's why we create customized care paths unique to you. From detox to our alumni community, we're here to support your recovery.
Specialized Help for Veterans & First Responders. We're here to help military veterans and first responders struggling with substance abuse, PTSD, and other mental health issues. Join a recovery community with individuals who get you.
Medical Detox. Our medical detox allows you to more safely detox from drugs and alcohol in a quiet environment while receiving 24/7 supervision and care as needed. Medical detox usually lasts between 5 and 7 days, during which our physicians and nurses will strive to alleviate your withdrawal symptoms.
The necessity of medical detox depends on several factors, including the substance(s) that were used (e.g., alcohol, opioids, etc.), the anticipated severity of withdrawal symptoms, and the presence of any significant medical and/or mental health issues. To make detox safer, Desert Hope utilizes EarlySense® technology, a monitoring device placed under the patient’s mattress that tracks their heart rate, breathing rate, and movement and will alert nursing staff in real-time to any noteworthy changes so they can respond to potential high-risk medical situations.
Inpatient Rehabilitation (IR). If you arrive at Desert Hope with an acute or unstable medical condition that requires a higher level of medical supervision, you may be assigned to our inpatient, or intensive, rehab program if it can safely meet your needs. Inpatient rehab provides you with 24/7 medical supervision and care as needed to keep you safe and work toward medical stabilization.
We will develop a customized treatment plan for you that includes individual and group therapy sessions and therapeutic activities. If you are diagnosed with a co-occurring disorder such as depression or PTSD, you will receive integrated therapy that addresses both your substance use disorder and mental health disorder.
Residential Treatment. Residential treatment, or live-in rehab, is ideal for those who benefit from living at our treatment facility with staff accessible 24/7, but who do not have a medical condition that requires around-the-clock monitoring and care. Our residential treatment program allows you to live in a drug-free environment where you can actively participate in individual and group therapy sessions.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Patients who join our PHP program, sometimes called “day treatment,” receive therapy at least 5 days per week for a minimum of 6 hours per day. This highly structured treatment program includes individual and group therapy and a wide range of therapeutic activities.
You will spend 90 minutes in a process group with an assigned therapist and peers. PHP also allows you to engage and connect with other individuals striving to stay in recovery through peer support groups and sober activities.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Patients who join our IOP receive therapy at least three days per week for a minimum of 3 hours per day. Our IOP is structured similarly to our PHP but is less intensive and focuses more on helping you integrate back into your ordinary life in a healthy way.
During your time in an IOP, you will work on finalizing aftercare plans and learn how to embrace a new, healthier, sober lifestyle.
Outpatient Program (OP). Regular outpatient services are available at Desert Hope Outpatient Center. Regular outpatient therapy is not as intensive as an IOP and so is a more flexible option. Your treatment plan will be tailored to your needs.
Sober Living. Patients who complete one or more treatment programs at Desert Hope can transition to a nearby sober living facility if they want to keep focusing on recovery and aren’t ready to return home. Those who transition to a local sober living facility in our network can receive transportation to and from Desert Hope Outpatient Center to participate in ongoing therapy.
Sober living may be highly beneficial for those at high risk for relapse and who need a supportive social network to stay on track with recovery.
Planning for Your Aftercare. During your time at Desert Hope, you will work with your treatment team to make a plan for the next steps to take when you leave your current program. We want you to keep your momentum and stay focused on your recovery, and we do everything we can to help you do so.
