But if it is abused it can lead to severe problems in the behavioral, physical and mental wellbeing.  Once the opium enters the body, the person will feel a rush of pleasant feeling. It accompanied by physical symptoms such as feelings of warmth, flushing of the skin, drying of oral cavity, heaviness in the extremities, nausea, vomiting, and severe itching. This can be life-threatening because it slows down heartbeat and breathing, and in severe cases, can lead to paralysis and death.

Medical Marijuana in NJ

Use of marijuana in New Jersey is illegal if it is for fun and leisure, but if it is for medical reasons, it is permitted. Arrest relating to the use of marijuana is also increasing in New Jersey.  The penalty for possession of 50 grams or less of cannabis is six months imprisonment and fine.

However, NJ Governor Phil Murphy is advocating medical marijuana by ordering a review of the medical marijuana program. This will be beneficial for people who have diseases that are relieved by using medical marijuana.
